Overview
The Sr. Talent Acquisition Partner will be responsible for managing recruiting efforts at Sonny’s Enterprises. They will work closely with business stakeholders and the HR ecosystem to identify, attract, and secure top talent that aligns with the company’s needs and values. This role includes handling the full recruitment lifecycle, from sourcing and screening candidates to conducting interviews and facilitating hiring processes for all company sites.
In addition, the TA Partner will play a key role in enhancing recruitment communications, including managing job postings and collaborating with the marketing team to strengthen employer branding efforts on the company website and other platforms. They will also monitor recruitment metrics to improve processes, attract higher-quality candidates, and ensure the efficient use of company resources. This individual will be expected to collaborate with the HR team on projects that drive organizational effectiveness and align with broader HR goals.
The TA Partner will be responsible for building strong talent pipelines, ensuring a positive candidate experience, and maintaining compliance with company policies and employment regulations. This individual will also stay informed about market trends and sourcing strategies to support the company’s hiring objectives effectively.
Because this work requires daily interactions with internal and external individuals, the ability to work well in a team environment is essential. Must be highly organized, have excellent communication skills, and pay exceptional attention to detail. They must have advanced analytical and problem-solving abilities.
*This position will primarily focus on traveling to the Mid-Atlantic states, including Indiana, Iowa, South Dakota, Ohio, Minnesota, and other surrounding areas.*
Responsibilities
- Conduct intake interviews with hiring managers and HR representatives to determine best practices for recruitment based on specific job requirements.
- Manage the full recruitment lifecycle, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and facilitating the hiring process for all company sites.
- Build and maintain strong talent pipelines for current and future hiring needs.
- Source new candidates by sponsoring available positions and performing proactive searches on platforms such as LinkedIn, Indeed, etc.
- Conduct timely interviews and present qualified candidates to hiring managers, including a detailed write-up of qualifications and potential concerns.
- Schedule phone, in-person, or web-based interviews with hiring managers for all qualified candidates.
- Manage candidate activity in the applicant tracking system (ATS) and ensure accurate and timely updates.
- Disposition all candidates promptly and follow up with hiring managers for feedback and next steps.
- Ensure a positive candidate experience by providing clear communication and timely updates throughout the process.
- Prepare and present offer letters to extend job offers to qualified candidates.
- Assist hiring managers in developing interview questions and evaluating candidates.
- Participate in broader HR projects and provide insights to improve recruiting and HR practices.
- Prepare and maintain recruiting and staffing reports and spreadsheets, including metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of recruiting efforts.
- Monitor recruitment metrics to improve processes, attract higher-quality candidates, and ensure the efficient use of company resources.
- Build and maintain relationships with industry contacts to stay informed about trends and gain insights into sourcing strategies.
- Stay updated on market trends, talent availability, and best practices in recruitment to support effective hiring.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of proven recruiting experience in a corporate environment, including full-cycle recruitment for a variety of roles across exempt, non-exempt, and leadership levels.
- Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Psychology or related field required
- Demonstrated success in managing the full-cycle recruitment process, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding.
- Experience with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and other recruitment tools; familiarity with ICIMS is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations related to recruitment and hiring.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with candidates, hiring managers, and HR team members.
- Strong relationship-building skills to foster positive interactions with internal and external stakeholders.
- Ability to analyze recruiting metrics and data to improve processes and outcomes.<
