As a Security Professional - Distribution Site - Morning Shift in Nashville, TN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more.

As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal at a logistics and distribution location, you will monitor and control entry points, conduct routine patrols, and help to deter security-related incidents. Pay Rate: $18.71 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTimeSat06:00 AM - 06:00 PMSun06:00 AM - 06:00 PM

What You’ll Do:

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

  • Control access to the distribution facility by verifying credentials and monitoring entry and exit points to help to deter unauthorized individuals from entering restricted areas.
  • Provide customer service by assisting visitors, employees, and delivery personnel with inquiries related to access and site-specific procedures.
  • Monitor security-related systems, such as surveillance cameras and alarm panels, to identify and report any suspicious activity within the logistics location.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols for emergency response.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the logistics and distribution location, including the perimeter, to help to deter potential threats and identify maintenance or security-related concerns.
  • Document and report security-related incidents, access violations, and unusual occurrences according to Allied Universal and client policies.
  • Collaborate with logistics staff and Allied Universal team members to maintain a secure environment while supporting the operational flow of the distribution location.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
