What You'll Be Doing

• Operate and maintain quarry equipment and machinery safely and efficiently

• Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on equipment

• Assist with plant operations including material handling and cleanup

• Operate truck loadout equipment to ensure efficient and accurate loading of materials

• Monitor and report equipment or operational issues to supervisors

• Basic mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills

Conditions of Employment

• Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug screen, and background check

• Must meet all legal requirements to work in the United States

Work Environment

• Role operates primarily in environments where the conditions include moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, cold, humidity, and elevated noise level.

Physical Demands of the Job

• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly

• Frequent standing, walking, climbing, bending, and reaching

• Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces

• Manual dexterity and coordination to operate tools and machinery

• Tolerance for exposure to dust, vibration, and varying weather conditions
