Sentara Obici Hospital is hiring a Unit Coordinator, Registered Nurse for our 24-bed Intermediate Care Unit.

This is a Full Time position with Night Shift hours and great benefits!

Position is located in Suffolk, VA

Job Requirements:

• Bachelors Degree Required
• Masters Degree Preferred
• Active RN License
• Requires 18 months experience in Nursing

We provide care for higher acuity patients in the following areas: Neuro, Cardiac, Respiratory, Renal and Surgical (to name a few).

Typical patients on Stepdown include:
-Respiratory Failure (such as in Congestive Heart Failure, COVID, Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease). These patients may include those on BIPAP’s and chronic trached ventilator patients.
-Stroke and seizure patients.
-Chest Pain, MI (heart attack), Congestive Heart Failure
-Renal Hemodialysis and peritoneal dialysis patients
-Post op surgical patients (ostomy’s, extensive wounds such are decubs, VAT’s, ortho also)
