What you’ll be able to do: 

Support the development of autonomy, electrification, and smart mobility technologies. Develop test procedures, plans, automated scripts, and cases. Perform automated and manual test execution, results analysis, root cause analysis, and verifications. Collaborate cross-functionally with technical specialists, feature owners, development teams, and other test teams in support of testing and development activities of features to understand testing requirements and implement required test tools and tests scripts, as well as bring ideas from proof-of-concept into production.

Software Validation Engineer positions offered by Ford Motor Company (Dearborn, MI).

You'll have…

• Requires a bachelor’s or foreign equivalent degree in Engineering, Computer Science or a related field 
• 2 years of experience in the position offered or 2 years of experience performing automotive software development and validations 
• 2 years of experience: utilizing software testing and quality assurance methodologies
• 2 years of experience: providing feature testing support for Automotive Electronic Control Units (ECU)
• 2 years of experience: designing and testing embedded systems for high performance, high reliability computing applications 
• 2 years of experience: in ADAS Test solution development and integrating  ADAS Cameras, Radars HW and software installation with HIL test setup
• 2 years of experience: working in dSpace or National instrument Hardware in loop tool chains
• Position reports to Dearborn, MI office. Company offers flexible work from home schedule, but in-office work is required and individual must live within commuting distance of stated office. 
• Experience may be, but need not be, acquired concurrently.

We are offering a salary of $90,000 to $160,000 per year.
