WiFi Scanner and Risk Auditor

Ampsight is seeking a WiFi Scanner and Risk Auditor to join our fast-growing team. The WiFi Audit and Risk Scanner utilizes various industry standard tools to conduct vulnerability scans and ensure wireless networks are compliant in accordance with current regulatory guidelines. Team members will receive hands-on training from team members and direct supervisors. After joining the team, you can attend conferences to stay abreast of the most recent discoveries in the industry as well as obtain certifications.

Responsibilities

• Effectively communicate using verbal and written communication to deliver reports based on findings of the network scans
• Conduct vulnerability assessments on a wireless infrastructure with a variety of tools utilizing both automated and manual techniques
• Methodically inspect and analyze data from the network scans to identity vulnerabilities, as well as compliant and proper network configurations
• Effectively communicate using verbal and written communication to deliver reports based on the findings of the network scans

Requirements

• US citizenship required
• An active TS/SCI Security Clearance (preferred but not required)
• Experience using scanning devices and their applications to include image software i.e., AirCrack
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office products
• Experience with Technical Data including Engineering Drawings and Specifications
• Ability to understand and evaluate risk
• Regularly required to stand, kneel, or stoop, and lift and/or move up to 40 pounds
• Experience with data entry and metadata capture
• Detail oriented and able to communicate clearly and respond to questions about your process
• Willing to travel 50% of work time
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Math, Engineering or a related field or an equivalent combination of education, experience, and/or certification
