Valmet’s Global Financial Operations (GFO) is looking for finance professionals who are enthusiastic and ambitious to develop Valmet’s processes and tools and can continuously identify critical topics. You are positive, persistent and have analytical and problem-solving skills. You feel comfortable to work in global matrix organization.

GFO Internal Trade is responsible for Valmet Intercompany trade processes, manage accounting activities from master data to reporting, drive issue resolution and provide expertise in accounting matters. In the Global Key User (GKU) role you are supporting and further developing end-to-end IC finance flow, Invoicing – Accounts Receivable – Accounts Payable – Payments,  and you also collaborate closely with sales and logistic process teams.  An essential part as GKU is to support implementation of new processes and tools as part of Valmet global ERP renewal program during the coming years.

The main responsibilities in this role are:

• Monitoring and controlling end-to-end ICT processes and finance flows, issue resolution.

• Providing support for end users and collaborate across all finance end-to-end processes as well as all Valmet businesses.

• Assisting and supporting concept owners in Leap Forward ERP -program in process and solution development, and roll-outs.

• Testing of developed new functionalities/ changes and verifying solution against requirements.

• Training key users and other Valmet employees, providing instructions and creating training material.

• Actively participating and supporting ICT concept development and harmonization of way to operate globally.

To succeed in this role, you need to have:

• Working experience within the area of finance preferably in an international business environment

• Bachelor’s degree in finance or equivalent

• Good end-to-end process understanding, finance and linkage to logistics  

• Experience and knowledge of finance solutions and ERP systems

• Good presentation, communication and networking skills with ability to deliver complex messages in an effective way to stakeholders

• Fluency in written and spoken English

• Self-motivated drive to fulfill requirements and meet timelines

• Willingness to roll up your sleeves, work across team and function boundaries and influence actions to reach targets
