Poker Dealer School (Horseshoe Bossier)

<p><a name="_Hlk226117124">The Dealer Trainee is trained to create an entertainment environment for all guests. Provide courteous, friendly, and prompt service in dealing Poker.</a></p> <ul><li>Provides an upbeat personality for all interactions with guests and fellow employees. </li><li>Ability to be proactive in anticipating customer needs. </li><li>Ability to familiarize self with all guests to know names and personal facts. </li><li>Knowledge of money handling skills in providing chips for guests. </li><li>Knowledge of card games. </li><li>Basic knowledge of other games and services offered at property. </li><li>Knowledge of department policies and procedures, including those pertaining to Federal and Regulatory laws and guidelines. </li><li>Routinely strives to build and achieve customer satisfaction. </li><li>Exercises appropriate discretion in identifying communications of special promotions to customers. </li><li>Coordinates with Casino Operations supervisor and Security to detect and prevent attempts to cheat and to identify floor irregularities to a Casino Operations Supervisor, Lead Shift Supervisor, or Casino Manager. </li><li>Acts as a role model and present oneself as a credit to Caesars and encourage others to do the same.</li><li>Must be able to perform any and all other duties as assigned by the Supervisor or Department Head.</li></ul> <ul><li>High school diploma preferred. </li><li>Must be able to obtain Non-Key LA Gaming License and Responsible Vendor Certification.</li><li>Must possess strong money handling and documentation skills. </li><li>Must be able to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization.</li><li>Must be able to work any day of the week and any shift.</li><li>Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.</li></ul><p><strong>ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS</strong></p><ul><li>Must be able to bend, crouch, kneel, twist, and lift. </li><li>Responds to visual and aural cues. </li><li>Must present a well-groomed appearance.</li><li>Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English. </li><li>Must be able to acknowledge, greet, and converse in English with customers. </li><li>Must be able to lift, pull, push or carry up to 25 pounds. </li><li>Will be required to work varying schedules to reflect the business needs of the property. </li><li>Must be able to work inside and continuously maneuver around Pit area and throughout the hotel/casino property. </li><li>When on casino floor, must be able to tolerate areas containing secondhand smoke, high noise levels, bright lights, and dust. </li><li>Must be able to get along with co-workers and work as a team.</li></ul>
