Job Title: Business Processes Principal Consultant

Location: Newtown Square, PA

 

Purpose and Objective: 

SAP America, Inc. seeks a Business Processes Principal Consultant at our Newtown Square, PA location to drive business consulting by translating the customer's vision into solutions.

 

Expectations and Tasks:

Maps business processes to solution requirements. Champions and leads disruptive business innovation. Provides thought leadership around the transformation towards the Intelligent Enterprise. Drives change management to achieve business transformation objectives. Supports end-to-end solution design and configuration across all relevant solutions (on-premises, cloud, and hybrid), applying state-of-the-art methodologies and standards. Plans transitions of customer solution landscapes. Drives deployment of best practice business processes for specific Lobs. Supports pre-sales activities. Performs solution reviews and feasibility studies. Supports in escalated projects. Occasionally takes over responsibility as a (sub-)project lead or team lead for a service delivery. Supports line manager(s) in people development tasks. Delivers customer workshops and trainings. Supports in partner-led projects to ensure ecosystem and customer success. Introduces SAP and industry leading practices for complex business requirements based on experience. Drives the evolution of the relevant section of the services portfolio for the respective solution area and key related areas; can be owner of a service and/or initiates updates to the portfolio. Drives the creation of templates, common practices and supporting service delivery artifacts in order to optimize business processes. Mentors’ business process consultants.

 

Education and Qualifications/Skills and Competencies:

Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or related field of study and seven (7) years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or a related occupation. The Company will also accept a Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or related field of study and five (5) years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation.

 

Work Experience:

Experience must involve 2 years in the following:

• Architectural and functional knowledge in SAP Transportation management solution and its integration to other modules like SAP Sales and Distribution (SD), SAP Materials Mgmt. (MM) and SAP Logistics Business Network (LBN);
• Development experience using ABAP, Restful ABAP Programming (RAP), JavaScript and Webdynpro and knowledge of SAP TM specific framework such as Business Object Processing Framework (BOPF), Post Processing Framework (PPF), Core Data Services (CDS), Fiori elements, Process controller framework (PCF), Business Rules Framework (BRF+) and Data Replication Framework (DRF);
• Performance analysis and identify bottlenecks in business process using tools: SAT, ST12, Memory inspector and ST05; and
• Functional and Technical knowledge about SAP Business By Design and Logistics Business Network cloud solution.

 

Travel: Position requires up to 30% domestic and international travel to various and unanticipated client sites. Telecommuting permitted.

Compensation Range Transparency: The annual base salary range for this position is $133,120 - $226,320.
