Global Workplace Operations Manager


The Places team is spearheading a revolution in workplace design, transforming offices into dynamic hubs of collaboration and innovation. Our approach is rooted in thoughtful intentionality, with meticulous attention to detail from conceptualization to implementation. In this landscape, the Global Workplace Operations Manager plays a pivotal role: orchestrating and optimizing our efforts worldwide to ensure seamless integration and alignment across all regions.

 

Key Responsibilities

Oversee the strategic operations and management of our Places team including our working models, budgets, and support systems. 
-    Create new processes and improve existing ones, finding opportunities for automation, optimization and cost reduction
-    Conduct regular data analysis to identify trends, risks, and areas for improvement

-    Create standardized tools, resources, and norms that enable the team's efficiency and organizational effectiveness
-    Define seasonal planning and on-site initiatives for key milestones across the team 
-    Troubleshoot and resolve day-to-day and complex issues in existing systems and processes

 

Redefine how we provide Places support to employees, from both a backend and customer-facing perspective. 
-    Improve existing and propose new tools for streamlining how we collect and field employee inquiries
-    Build a comprehensive strategy for housing Places related information for our own team, as well as for employees to reference 

-    Identify key hand offs with other teams necessary for facilitating a seamless end user experience
-    Partner with front desk and reception teams to build out a hospitality-driven approach to how we provide in-person help at our hub offices

 

Drive change across the organization by building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, serving as a liaison and advocate for employee interests
-    Collaborate with other functional leaders to drive cross-functional initiatives and resolve multi-faceted employee experience issues
-    Develop strategies to implement and communicate changes within our own group, groups we work with, and the global employee population

 

You will have most of these qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in business administration, facility management, or a related field
- 8+ years of experience in workplace operations or a similar operations role
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive organizational change
- Proficiency in data analysis and project management tools
- Thorough knowledge of industry best practices and regulatory requirements

The San Francisco/Bay Area base salary range for this full-time position is $131,100-$157,700, which can vary if outside this location, plus bonus, benefits, and some roles may also include equity. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, competencies, experience, market demands, internal parity, and relevant education or training. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range and perks and benefits for your location during the hiring process.
