The Boeing CompanyBoeing Defense, Space, & Security (BDS) Program Management Home Office has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Project Management Specialist to join the PM Direct Support to Programs Team. In this role, the selected candidate will be a direct interface to programs across Boeing Defense, Space & Security, providing guidance and support as our Program Managers lead their programs through our key processes and procedures.
This position will have the opportunity to lead and execute the Enterprise Standard Gated Process (ESGP), support Integrated Product Team (IPT) Pilot Programs with implementation and monitoring, providing Earned Value Management (EVM) Guidance to support key compliance activities, providing guidance on the Rate Change Readiness (RCR) Process, and supporting Program Start Up processes, including initial baselines, Design-Make-Buy strategies, and Independent Reviews.
As a key contributor on this team, this position will play an important role in helping our programs succeed in implementing the Program Management Best Practices (PMBPs) and delivering on critical commitments to our customers.
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.
Position Responsibilities:
Leads and manages Rate Change Readiness (RCR) and Work Movement across BDS, working directly with Program Management teams and key functional stakeholders
Supports implementation of Enterprise Standard Gated Process (ESGP) on multiple programs
Supports implementation of Integrated Product Teams (IPT) structure on pilot programs
Supports Program Start Up and Earned Value Management (EVM) execution and compliance with Program Management
Provide Program Management Best Practice (PMBP) guidance and support across BDS
Facilitates and ensures integration of project plans, schedules, change and baseline management, processes, techniques considered to be best practice across the industry
Coordinates commitments and communications with internal and external stakeholders to fulfill strategic initiatives
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
5+ years of experience with Project Management
5+ years of experience developing and maintaining relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners, and/or direct reports
5+ years of experience analyzing data and developing metrics to track performance to plan for a business/organization
3+ years of experience with end-to-end project/program management: conception and initiation, planning, execution, performance/monitoring, and project closeout
3+ years of experience building and presenting plans to executive leadership
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Bachelor's degree or higher
Project Management Professional (PMP) Certified
Experience with Program Management Best Practices
Experience with Project planning and integration techniques

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
