Fund Accounting Associate (Credit Drawdowns)

• Coordinate the NAV finalization process, including P&L reconciliation and allocation to investors, for open-ended and closed-ended private funds trading a credit strategy; investigate and resolve discrepancies with third party fund administrators and internal teams
• Prepare and reconcile the calculation and payment of management and performance fees in accordance with the funds’ governing documents
• Prepare capital calls and distributions allocations and notifications

• Qualifications:                  

• 4+ years of public accounting, fund, or administrator experience
• BS (or above) in Accounting or Finance
• CPA preferred
• Outstanding attention to detail and accuracy, including commitment to excellence in work product
• Strong desire to learn and collaborative team player
• Independent worker / proactive self-starter
• Possesses a strong work ethic, personal and professional integrity, and a positive attitude
• Effective interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
• Highly organized with strong time management and multi-tasking skills
• Advanced Excel skills required
• Review client capital account statements generated by third party administrators
• Review annual audited financial statements and coordinate with external auditors for the year-end audit process
• Prepare or review performance reporting, Blackstone reporting deliverables, and other ad hoc client or management requests
• Prepare and/or review regulatory reporting, investor letters, and custom client reporting
• Prepare or review expense allocations, invoice payments, and operating expense budgets
• Liaise with various internal teams including Operations, Investor Relations, Management Reporting, Tax, Legal, and Compliance
• Collaborate with and oversee offshore resources to ensure accurate and timely preparation of files
• Review fund legal documents and continue to streamline or build processes and templates

Expected annual base salary range:

$105,000 - $140,000

Actual base salary within that range will be determined by several components including but not limited to the individual's experience, skills, qualifications and job location. For roles located outside of the US, please disregard the posted salary bands as these roles will follow a separate compensation process based on local market comparables.

Additional compensation: Base salary does not include other forms of compensation or benefits offered in connection with the advertised role.
