About the Role

Village Roadshow (member of Antenna Group) is a leading entertainment brand, best known for its cinemas, delivering an unparalleled movie-going experience to over 3 million viewers annually.

As we continue to expand our reach and enhance our services, we are looking for a passionate, creative and detail-oriented Communications & Social Media Associate to join our dynamic Business Development & Marketing team. This is a junior-level position, ideal for someone enthusiastic about cinema, digital media and brand communication. You will play a key role in supporting the promotion of new releases, special screenings and enhancing our brand's presence across digital and physical channels.

Job Description 

• Assist in the planning and execution of marketing campaigns for movie premieres, special screenings and promotional activations (including in-theatre physical and digital signage, contests and experiential marketing)
• Support the management of Village Cinemas’ social media channels, including content creation (posts, stories, reels), scheduling and community management
• Contribute to public relations activities, including the support of media outreach
• Update and maintain content on the official Village Cinemas website
• Work closely with internal departments (Sales, Programming, Operations & IT) to coordinate and implement marketing actions effectively
• Liaise with external vendors and partners for the production of promotional materials
• Collaborate with other business units of the Antenna Group to develop and execute cross-promotional initiatives
• Act as a contact point for Village Cinemas locations across Greece, supporting the execution of marketing and promotional activities at the local level
• Handle the processing of purchase orders and approvals related to marketing activities

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Media or a related field

• Excellent command of both Greek and English (written and spoken)
• Strong knowledge of social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube and Linkedin)
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Knowledge of Canva or similar design and AI tools is a plus
• Passion for cinema and entertainment
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and work cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment.
• Previous internship or 1–2 years of experience in marketing, media or PR will be considered an asset
