The Finance & Strategy (F&S) team is the global champion for smart growth & operational alignment - delivering financial predictability & control, business accountability, insight to optimize decisions and resources, and shareholder success. The Corporate Finance & Strategy Attrition team focuses on retaining $30B+ annualized recurring revenue (ARR). Serving as a source of truth and leader with vision for the Company’s externally disclosed revenue attrition metric, this team validates, reports, forecasts, and maintains revenue attrition and works cross functionally with key executives across a matrixed organization to provide decision support in retaining the Company’s subscription revenue base.
Reporting to the Sr. Manager, Corporate F&S Attrition, this role will have oversight of all month-end functions, supporting IR, and identifying gaps in current policies and processes. A successful candidate will work collaboratively across sales strategy, customer success (CSG), comp and finance teams. The role requires business partnering, steadfast focus on efficiencies, and attention to detail. A successful candidate will have a demonstrated ability to dive into the details while keeping a big picture attitude, optimally communicate in a clear and concise manner and own processes from start to finish.
Responsibilities
Build trusted relationships with key business partners, gaining a deep understanding of relevant business drivers and their historical trends.
Lead and develop two direct reports (SFA & FA)
Oversight of all month-end functions including:
Attrition validation process: owning all executive communications with deliverable results
Forecasts & Outlooks: ensuring all applicable deliverables (Flash deck, Scorecards, CFO decks) are completely timely and accurately
Drive the fiscal Plan partnering with Renewals for assessment analyses and ensuring timely completion of all Plan milestones and attaining required sign-offs during each phase.
Own and manage the business partnership with the Investor Relations team through:
Comprehensive quarterly analytics of historical and future trends created by your team.
Constructing clear, cogent narratives with respect to financial outcomes related to Company attrition.
Giving clear, succinct presentations with key outcomes and actionable insights.
Support the re-imagination of attrition and net revenue rule through:
Creating short and long term road maps to operationalize change
Ability to have white space thinking
Partnering with cross-functional business leads
Participate in cross-functional projects across the company to continuously enhance reporting and efficiency to scale.
Facilitate organization-wide enablement sessions, preparing presentations applicable to the targeted group.
Required Skills:
BA/BS degree required; Finance, Economics or Accounting preferred.
7+ years FP&A experience or relevant field.
Ability to successfully lead a team
Strong financial analysis, with the ability to take ownership of a critical process and to turn data into actionable insight.
Self-starter with the ability to work independently and multi-task effectively in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain complex issues in an understandable way.
Ability to form relationships and collaborate with cross-functional partners in renewals, sales, CSG, comp, M&
