About the Role
To be successful as the Technical Program Manager focused on Firmware Engineering at Sibros, you will serve as an integral part of the Engineering team, executing a broad range of oversight, tracking, and delivery of company and team goals. In addition, you will be coordinating with cross-functional teams, and keeping the Engineering teams in sync when requirements and priorities change.
The Technical Program Manager of Firmware Engineering responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Ensuring supported teams understand what they are expected to deliver with the right priority at all times
- Collaborating with the Product Management team to drive engineering development, epics, and milestone achievements based on company and customer priorities
- Leading cross-functional team initiatives and ensuring the engineering goals are achieved successfully at the committed timeline
- Thorough understanding of the end goals for each engineering project
- Determining project plans, risks, and corresponding mitigations to meet the project goals
- Communicating objectives effectively to all functional teams in order to drive and deliver key results
- Continuously improving and optimizing our internal engineering processes so that the team can move quickly while still ensuring quality
- Driving project, release, and sprint planning with the Engineering team, and collecting team metrics such as burn-down rate and velocity
- Tracking all project and product issues, and driving them to resolution with the Engineering team
- Coordinating customer releases across development and validation teams
- Ensuring the release process is followed, and customer releases are delivered on time with quality
- Building effective relationships with Engineers and Managers to improve communication and project outcomes
Minimum Qualifications
- BA/BS degree in a Science or Engineering field
- 5+ years experience as a Technical Program Manager within a software development team
- Familiar with Scrum development methodologies and the supporting tool suites (e.g. GitLab)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong conflict resolution skills
- Strong organization and planning skills
- Proven records of program management for end-to-end software product development
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working on early-stage projects in a fast-paced environment with ambiguity and change
- Strong presentation skills
- Excellent facilitation and meeting hosting skills
- A strong background in developing software in one of the following areas: IoT, cloud, mobility and vehicle-related software

Additional Information:
The US base salary range for this full-time position is $160,000 - $180,000 + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role and level. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum range for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Please note that the compensation details listed in US role postings reflect the base salary only, and do not include equity, benefits, or any discretionary bonus components.
