About the role

Eaton’s ES AMER ESS division is currently seeking a Digital Manufacturing Technician - 1st Shift. 

The hourly rate for this position is $33.80 per hour. The hours for this shift are 6:30 am - 2:30 pm. Overtime may exceed these hours and be mandatory at times.

Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

What you’ll do:

Eaton’s Power Reliability Business Unit within the Power Systems Division is currently seeking a Digital Manufacturing Technician on 1st shift to join our team. This position is based at our South Milwaukee, WI facility.

The Digital Manufacturing Technician is responsible for supporting and accelerating the plant's digital transformation strategy through the deployment, sustainment, and expansion of digital manufacturing technologies, connected manufacturing solutions, advanced analytics, and data-driven operational tools. The position will support key digital manufacturing platforms, support manufacturing process and test analytics initiatives, develop meaningful dashboards and visual management solutions, and provide training and governance to ensure successful adoption and sustainment of digital technologies across the facility.

•    Support the development and execution of the plant's Digital Transformation and Industry 4.0 roadmap. 
•    Lead the deployment, standardization, and scaling of digital manufacturing applications and modules across manufacturing operations. 
•    Provide application administration, user training, troubleshooting, sustainment, and continuous improvement support for digital solutions. 
•    Collaborate with operations and engineering teams to identify opportunities for digitalization, automation, and enhanced process visibility. 
•    Own the site's digital work instruction platform, including implementation, governance, standardization, training, and user adoption. 
•    Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards, scorecards, KPI metrics, and visual management systems that drive actionable decision-making. 
•    Create and maintain documentation, standard work, training materials, and governance processes for digital solutions. 
•    Support data governance, data quality, and standardization initiatives to ensure accurate and reliable reporting. 

Qualifications:

Required (Basic) Qualifications:
•    Must have a Associate's degree in Advanced Manufacturing, Information Systems, Engineering or related field. 
•    Minimum of 3 years of manufacturing environment is required.

Preferred Qualifications:
•    Experience with Ignition software, PCAT, MES platforms, and industrial automation technologies. 
•    Experience with Microsoft Power Platform (Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate). 
•    Experience working with SQL databases, Snowflake, manufacturing data systems, or enterprise reporting platforms. 
•    Experience with Operational Technology (OT) environments, including PLC programming, industrial networking, controls systems integration, and manufacturing equipment connectivity
