Medical Technologist - Medical Device Educator ( Remote)

Position Description: 

Our IQVIA Medical Technologists will be dedicated to improving the life science field by educating healthcare professionals on a world-class PCR testing diagnostics systems that automate highly complex and time-consuming manual procedures.

The test portfolio spans from respiratory infections, blood virology, women’s and sexual health, to Tuberculosis and emerging infectious diseases, healthcare-associated infectious diseases, oncology, and human genetics. Delivering actionable solutions where they are needed most – from central laboratories and hospitals to near-patient settings.

You will have a unique opportunity to employ your laboratory expertise in a new way outside patient care, while continuing to collaborate with healthcare professionals and advocate for the well-being of patients through medical device technology.

This will be a Fully remote part-time position.

We are hiring asap with an expected start date in the month of March 2024.

Responsibilities: 

Provide peer-to-peer education (Both Online and In-person) and in-servicing to all support staff. Assess customer specific education needs and collaborate with staff to deliver a positive educational experience. Utilize clinical expertise to answer questions, address any concerns, and provide solutions. Provide updates, reports, and valuable feedback to client during and after in-service assignments.

Job Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years of Medical Technologist/Clinical Lab experience or equivalent educational experience required.
  • Bachelor’s degree in field with 5+ years of related work experience OR
     Master’s degree in field with 3+ years of related work experience OR
    Doctoral degree in field with 0-2 years of related work experience

• Experience in molecular and microbiology techniques
• Experience using current technology for documentation and communication.
• Able to work independently and efficiently from home or in the field.
• Professional business acumen
• Ability to travel regionally or nationally if required for in-person in services at customer sites.

• An active and unrestricted driver license and personal vehicle to commute self to assignments is required for this position. 
• Must be comfortable with Microsoft Office tools to deliver virtual education.
• Strong communication skills and ability to provide exceptional customer support.

Duties may require compliance with client requirements that all those performing services on-site be fully vaccinated.

The potential base pay range for this role is 50-60 per hour. The actual base pay offered may vary based on a number of factors including job-related qualifications such as knowledge, skills, education, and experience; location; and/or schedule (full or part-time).
