This opportunity resides with All-Domain Operations (ADO), a business group within HII’s Mission Technologies division. All-Domain Operations comprises multi-domain operations, platforms and logistics, and intelligence operations.

Are you an Emerging & Disruptive Technology Expert ready to be at the forefront of intelligence innovation? HII-Mission Technologies is seeking passionate individuals to join our team in partnership with the Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA) under the Object Based Intelligence and Quality Assurance (OBIQUA) task order. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to the Foundational Military Intelligence (FMI) analysis and production, driving new capabilities and insights that will revolutionize intelligence analysis.

 

You'll be instrumental in delivering cutting-edge Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning (ML), and advanced analytics capabilities, enhancing the intelligence prowess of the U.S. and its allies. Your work will directly support the unification and operationalization of AI across the Defense Intelligence Enterprise, facilitating Joint All-Domain Operations (JADO) by enabling rapid decision-making and seamless information sharing, ultimately providing crucial warfighting advantages.

What you will do

  • Proactively identify, monitor, and assess nascent and rapidly evolving technologies (e.g., Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning, Quantum Computing, Advanced Materials, Biotechnology, Hypersonics, Advanced Cyber Capabilities, Space Technologies, etc.) with the potential to significantly alter the geopolitical, security, or economic landscape
  • Conduct in-depth technical analysis of EDTs, including their underlying principles, development trajectories, technological readiness levels (TRLs), potential applications (both civil and military/dual-use), and limitations
  • Analyze how foreign adversaries and non-state actors are developing, acquiring, or exploiting EDTs to advance their objectives, create asymmetric advantages, or pose new threats
  • Develop comprehensive assessments and forecasts on the strategic, operational, and tactical implications of EDTs for the organization, its partners, and national interests. This includes assessing potential disruption, opportunities for innovation, and areas of vulnerability
  • Produce high-quality, actionable intelligence products such as strategic assessments, threat reports, technology forecasts, and policy briefs for diverse audiences, including senior leadership, policy makers, technical experts, and operational units
  • Develop and implement advanced methodologies, analytical frameworks, and leverage specialized tools (e.g., scientific literature databases, patent analysis software, technical OSINT tools, specialized analytical platforms) for EDT intelligence collection and analysis
