As the site lead, you will drive Customer Oriented Results and Excellence (CORE) Manage implementation and continuity at the Windsor Locks, CT, MRO.
 

What You Will Do

  • Drive CORE roadmap including MFA, SIPOC, KPIs, MRO Control Tower; and focus on Program/Project for continuous improvement. Monitor projects progress including CORE scorecard/control tower to successful completion.
  • Enhance continuous improvement culture through identifying CI opportunities, conducting CORE training, facilitating events and implementing communication plan
  • Develop annual CORE training and events plans and provide CORE coaching to the team per business needs.
  • Lead and/or coordinate cross level/function continuous improvements activities.
  • Actively assist in achieving Business Unit Policy Deployment and Strategic Plan objectives.
  • Ensure effective implementation of 3E (Ethic, Export Control, EHS) and SMS policies.
  • Support other MRO’s in the US region with their CORE programs, (approximately 20% of the total effort).
  • Any other duty as assigned by the company.
  • Approximately 20% travel

Qualifications You Must Have

  • Typically requires University Degree and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 14 years of relevant experience 
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract 

Qualifications We Prefer

  • Experience working in the aerospace industry
  • 2+ years of CORE, ACE or Lean/6 Sigma experience.
  • Site lead or project manager experience
  • Efficient and effective in managing cost reduction and CORE projects.
