Yard/Facility Maintenance - Fort Myers Area

This position is responsible for general labor duties including maintaining the building and grounds for the Waste Pro facility.

 

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

 

· Responsibility for general building maintenance

· Responsibility for maintaining cleanliness of facility including restrooms, storage areas, garages and grounds.

· Walks property to check for repairs

· Removes environmental hazards

· Parking lot maintenance -cleans and maintains a safe parking lot and outlying property.

· Maintains the ground foliage including grass, plants and trees. Mows grass, trims trees, weeds flower beds, edges borders, and cleans gutters as needed.

· Paints specified areas as determined.

· Builds residential and commercial toters.

. Light carpentry and handyman services.

. Light mechanical assembly IE tables, chairs, desks, out door equipment, etc.

 

OTHER JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

· Employees in this job classification must attend and participate in corporation sponsored training courses as assigned.

· Employees in this job classification are responsible for keeping up to date on current technology, as job appropriate, being used by Waste Pro.

· Any additional job duties that may be assigned by the Supervisor.

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS:

 

· Ability to perform labor work

· High School education/GED or equivalent preferred

· Ability to use a variety of hand and power tools

· Ability to follow directions and work as a team or independently
