JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS
We are hiring a highly motivated part-time graduate research assistant to support research and coordinate a community coalition aimed at reducing maternal mortality. This position will run from September 2025 to May 2026, with a maximum of 20 hours/week. The role offers hybrid flexibility and will report directly to the project’s Principal Investigator.
Job Duties
Job duties include but are not limited to:
- Conduct literature reviews
- Support project coordination and logistics
- Assist with the implementation of community-based interventions
- Contribute to drafting reports, research abstracts and manuscripts
Requirements and Qualifications
- Current graduate student with at least one-year course work toward a MPH or related degree
- Strong interest or experience in program coordination
- Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Highly motivated, detail-oriented, and self-motivated
- Experience with SAS and/or R is a plus
- Ability to learn quickly and independently
- Passion in maternal health, community engagement, and public health is highly desirable
