Job Purpose

Working at Unilever as the Associate Brand Manager for the North American Foods Business Unit means you are joining a world-class organization while driving growth & best-in-class communications for Unilever’s second-largest global brand in Unilever Foods’ largest market.   

The role will report into the Senior Manager, Digital & Social-First Marketing and will suit an ambitious marketer who is looking to further their experience in brand engagement & digital content excellence in the local US market. This role will sit on the Knorr North America team, working closely with the global & local brand team, agency partners, and cross-functional peers in Digital, PR, Media, and Consumer Insights. The successful candidate must be able to work independently, create and maintain great relationships with agencies and cross functional teams, have an analytical mind, and strong attention to detail. The role offers plenty of scope for creativity and independent leadership, while working closely with senior leadership on high-profile projects.   

  

What Will Your Main Responsibilities Be: 

  • Help drive strategy, planning, and execution related to digital marketing while tracking against key metrics
  • Work closely with Demand Creation and Innovation teams to ensure digital and social best practices are always top of mind and embedded in all consumer touchpoints. You will play a key role bringing “social-first” thinking to full-funnel brand engagement ideas
  • Support the development of influencer marketing strategy and lead execution of influencer content
  • Lead organic social & community management strategy for Knorr USA (including social listening, overseeing content creation & deployment of assets, and ongoing reporting)
  • Brand website: work with cross-functional UX and tech partners to identify new tools to test, optimize search strategy, and monitor consumer sentiment
  • Drive best in class 7OA assets with engaging content to drive conversion
  • Bring the outside in through new AI tools, collaborating with global teams to pilot.
  • Test, learn, and optimize within content, audience segmentation, and media channels (e.g. digital video, social, display, audio, SEM, and email marketing)
  • Help define key performance indicators, benchmarks, and goals for digital marketing campaigns. Develop and share regular reports outlining campaign performance.

  • You are a full-funnel thinker: as communication has evolved in digital, social, and commerce, you need to be able to partner with shopper marketing and sales teams to shape best in class digital plans, from social media communication to ecommerce. 
  • You are results-oriented: Performance marketing mindset is critical. Not only do you wish to deliver great creative, but you want to measure results, optimize, and prove out success.  

Experiences & Qualifications:
