About the role
The Project Manager will serve as the primary point of contact for the Project Management Office (PMO) team (non-IT) at the Social Circle facility, operating with minimal supervision. This role is responsible for supporting the development and maintenance of project management tools, overseeing project and program governance—including monitoring and controlling—and assisting with the annual capital management process.
The Project Manager will lead medium to large-scale projects through their full lifecycle, ensuring timely and successful delivery. As a champion of Takeda’s Project Management Methodology and PMO processes, the individual will play a critical role in driving consistency and excellence in execution. Success in this role requires a strong understanding of how project outcomes contribute to the broader goals of the site and organization.
How you will contribute
Project Management Office (PMO)
- ·Champion the Takeda Project Portfolio Life Cycle Management system by ensuring consistent adherence to its methodology across all site-based Project Managers.
- ·Serve as a subject matter expert in Project Management, both locally and corporately, to streamline PM practices and deliver training that enables effective execution within established frameworks.
- ·Act as a change agent, collaborating with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and enhance business processes.
- ·Collect and analyze project data to monitor progress and generate preliminary insights for reporting and decision-making.
- ·Identify and resolve project or process-related issues to meet key objectives such as quality, customer satisfaction, productivity, and cost efficiency.
- ·Leverage project management tools to develop mechanisms for tracking progress and facilitating problem-solving with project managers and stakeholders.
- ·Review and approve team deliverables, ensuring alignment with project goals and a focus on continuous improvement in project quality.
- ·Conduct training sessions to build project management capabilities across the organization.
- ·Perform additional duties as required to support PMO operations.
Project Management
- ·Lead small to large-scale, primarily non-technical projects, ensuring alignment with company goals and timely execution.
- ·Drive project implementation within defined scope, timelines, and objectives.
- ·Prepare and present project data, results, and reports to peers, stakeholders, and senior management with confidence and clarity.
- ·Proactively manage and resolve conflicts to achieve win-win outcomes.
- ·Balance multiple projects and priorities using industry best practices and standards.
- ·Oversee all aspects of project execution including resource allocation, procurement, scheduling, budgeting, risk management, communication, quality assurance, and scope control.
- ·Direct cross-functional teams and ensure successful delivery of project milestones and outcomes.
