Summary

The Air Import Senior Team Lead is responsible for overseeing the air import operations and leading a team of import specialists. The role involves ensuring that all import shipments are processed accurately and efficiently, and that customer service is maintained at a high level. The Air Import Senior Team Lead is also responsible for building strong relationships with customers and other stakeholders.

 

Duties and Responsibilities

• Oversee the air import operations, ensuring that all shipments are processed accurately and efficiently.
• Lead a team of import specialists, providing coaching and mentoring as needed.
• Build strong relationships with customers and other stakeholders.
• Ensure that customer service is maintained at a high level.
• Monitor performance metrics and implement improvements as needed.
• Manage import compliance, ensuring that all regulations and requirements are met.
• Resolve issues and conflicts that arise during the import process.
• Collaborate with other teams and departments as needed to ensure smooth operations.

 

Educational background / Work experience

• A bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field is preferred.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in air import operations, with at least 2 years of experience in a supervisory or team lead role.
