Why We Have This Role

On the Qualtrics Procurement team, we aim to enable Qualtrics’ mission and vision by providing the right third-party solutions at the right time. We have embarked on an extensive transformation of our procurement operating model, focusing on implementing industry best practices and optimizing supplier spending. 

 

As the Director of Strategic Sourcing (official Qualtrics designation Sourcing Team Lead), you will be working on growing a strong category/sourcing team while delivering immediate value in the form of solid supplier agreements, internal/external partnerships, and savings.  This role supports Qualtrics' business globally and will require strong acumen, innovative (out of the box) approaches, and a resilient attitude.  This role will require strong thought and people leadership, directly managing varied categories (IT - Cloud, Software, and Telecom preferred)

Things You’ll Do

• Act as a leader for the sourcing organization, driving a sound, methodical, and ever-improving category space
• Drive value for Qualtrics via its supply base, delivering savings, sound cash management, and value-add partnerships
• Grow sourcing professionals to be the best in the industry
• Assist in developing and driving Procurement strategy for immediate and multi-year timespan
• Assist in developing and driving Procurement technology/tools/processes landscape for the immediate and multi-year span
• Drive continuous improvement with the entrusted space and within the overall organization
• Perform c
