As a Facilities Maintenance Supervisor at Collins Aerospace, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation and upkeep of our building grounds and facilities systems. You will oversee a team of skilled technicians, coordinating their efforts to install, inspect, repair, and maintain various systems including mechanical, electrical, plumbing, safety, and waste management.

What You Will Do:
Coordinate day-to-day maintenance activities, including assigning and tracking the completion of work orders, encompassing predictive, preventive, and reactive tasks.
Oversees staff installing, inspecting, repairing, and building systems including mechanical, electrical, plumbing, safety, and waste management.
Maintain a safe and effective work environment in compliance with EHS regulations and local laws.
Monitor contractor coordination, ensuring adherence to safety protocols, conducting safety training, and completing necessary documentation such as Job Hazard Analysis forms.
Supervise a small team of skilled staff, providing guidance, support, and performance feedback.
Contribute to the development of processes and procedures to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the facilities maintenance operations.
Qualifications You Must Have:
Typically requires a University Degree and a minimum of 2 years prior relevant experience with specialized knowledge of technical or operational practices or in absence of a degree, 6 years of relevant experience.
Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future. RTX will not offer sponsorship for this position.
Qualifications We Prefer:
Previous experience in facilities maintenance and supervisory roles.
Proficient knowledge of building systems, including mechanical, electrical, plumbing, safety, and waste management.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members and external contractors.
Experience working with EHS regulations and compliance.
