As a Facilities Maintenance Supervisor at Collins Aerospace, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation and upkeep of our building grounds and facilities systems. You will oversee a team of skilled technicians, coordinating their efforts to install, inspect, repair, and maintain various systems including mechanical, electrical, plumbing, safety, and waste management.

What You Will Do:

• Coordinate day-to-day maintenance activities, including assigning and tracking the completion of work orders, encompassing predictive, preventive, and reactive tasks.

• Oversees staff installing, inspecting, repairing, and building systems including mechanical, electrical, plumbing, safety, and waste management.

• Maintain a safe and effective work environment in compliance with EHS regulations and local laws.

• Monitor contractor coordination, ensuring adherence to safety protocols, conducting safety training, and completing necessary documentation such as Job Hazard Analysis forms.

• Supervise a small team of skilled staff, providing guidance, support, and performance feedback.

• Contribute to the development of processes and procedures to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the facilities maintenance operations.

Qualifications You Must Have:

• Typically requires a University Degree and a minimum of 2 years prior relevant experience with specialized knowledge of technical or operational practices or in absence of a degree, 6 years of relevant experience.

• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future. RTX will not offer sponsorship for this position.

Qualifications We Prefer:

• Previous experience in facilities maintenance and supervisory roles.

• Proficient knowledge of building systems, including mechanical, electrical, plumbing, safety, and waste management.

• Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members and external contractors.

• Experience working with EHS regulations and compliance.
