We are seeking an experienced and innovative Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) to lead our marketing team and drive the company’s growth through strategic brand management, digital performance marketing strategies, search engine optimization (SEO), and organic growth initiatives. As a CMO, you will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive brand and marketing strategies to increase brand awareness, drive customer acquisition, and maximize revenue. Your expertise in brand and product positioning, digital performance marketing, SEO, new business go-to-market launch strategy, and customer journey optimization will be critical in expanding our online presence, optimizing campaigns, and delivering measurable results.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Strategic Planning and Leadership:
- Develop and implement a strategic marketing and resource plan aligned with the company’s goals and objectives
- Guide strategic brand, product and market positioning across business lines and audiences including consumer, government, university and corporate partners.
- Provide visionary leadership to the marketing team, setting clear objectives, KPIs, and performance targets.
- Collaborate with executive leadership to align marketing initiatives with overall business strategies.
- Stay updated on industry trends, consumer behavior, and digital marketing advancements to identify new opportunities and anticipate market changes.
- Digital Performance Marketing:
- Oversee the development and execution of digital marketing campaigns across various channels, including search engines, social media, display advertising, and email marketing.
- Utilize data-driven insights and analytics to optimize campaigns, improve targeting, and maximize ROI.
- Monitor campaign performance, analyze key metrics, and provide regular reports to the executive team, highlighting successes, challenges, and opportunities for improvement.
- Drive customer acquisition and conversion strategies through effective lead generation, customer segmentation, conversion rate optimization (CRO), and prospective student journey optimization techniques.
- Search Engine Optimization (SEO):
- Develop and implement a comprehensive SEO strategy to improve organic search rankings and increase website visibility.
- Conduct keyword research, perform on-page and off-page optimization, and oversee the technical aspects of SEO.
- Monitor website performance, conduct regular SEO audits, and implement strategies to improve website traffic, user experience, and search engine rankings.
- Stay updated on SEO best practices, algorithm changes, and emerging trends to maintain a competitive edge.
- Brand Development and Positioning
- Drive brand development initiatives, ensuring consistent messaging, visual identity, and brand positioning across all brands, products and marketing channels.
- Develop and execute brand awareness campaigns to expand the company’s reach and increase market share.
- Collaborate with the creative team to develop compelling content, creative assets, and marketing collateral that aligns with the brand’s voice and values.
- Monitor brand perception, conduct market research, and implement strategies to enhance brand equity and differentiation.
- Team Management and Collaboration:
- Build and lead a high-performing marketing team, providing mentorship, guidance, and professional development opportunities.
- Foster a collaborative work environment, encouraging cross-functional collaboration with other departments, such as sales, product development, and customer support.
- Manage relationships with external agencies, vendors, and strategic partners to leverage expertise and resources to drive marketing initiatives.
QUALIFICATIONS:
You are a great candidate if you have:
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business, or a related field (master’s degree preferred)
- 10+ years of professional experience in marketing management or executive roles within marketing.
