What will you be doing?

As a Data Science Manager at Circana you will be helping your client bring together multiple data assets into insightful visualizations that help them track, analyze and identify opportunities for growth across their businesses.  The Manager will contribute to the engagement, satisfaction, and growth of our clients by providing value-added data and tools for decision-making. The position provides the opportunity to make an impact through existing analytical skills while developing the knowledge and skills required for continued success in client development and market research solutions.

Job Responsibilities

• Leveraging Circana data in proprietary software system to develop analysis which help our clients grow their business.
• Being an expert in data, methodology, and tools for accessing and visualizing data and analytics to contribute to the development and improvement of data/content infrastructure and reporting tools.
• Proactively searching for meaningful trends within the data and sharing findings with both internal and external audiences in written and verbal formats.
• Ability to identify, create and present a clear story within the data that is relevant and insightful to the Client’s business.  
• Focus on data quality, project management and information management.

Requirements

• Creative problem solver with a passion of learning new technologies and change management, including getting to the “why” behind problems and solutions
• Bachelor’s degree and 1-2 years’ experience in sales, customer success, analytics, and/or the consumer-packaged goods (CPG), retail, or general merchandise industries
• Strong oral and written communication skills; keen attention to detail and flawless execution
• Solid working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite and strong knowledge of advanced Excel functions. Experience with data visualization tools (e.g.; Tableau, Power BI, etc)
• Partnering with account leads and cross-functional departments to drive initiatives that support the sale and delivery of Circana’s solutions
• Self-motivated and strong work ethic to contribute to team from remote environment
