• Salary $90,000 - $105,000 per year, based on several factors, such as years of experience, education, unique skills, performance, labor market conditions, and location

What You Will Do: 

• As a senior manufacturing cost analyst in our Woodland Hills, CA, you will serve as a financial resource for plant teams, provide training in manufacturing accounting procedures and financial analysis  

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual cost account analysis including book to physical inventory reconciliations, sales margin reports, and inventory adjustments 

• Post and review plant journal entries and inventory transactions and investigate and resolve reconciliation and production cost accounting issues 

• Prepare quarterly FIFO and LIFO inventory entries and related cost forecasts and budgets 

• Lead the annual standard cost revaluation process, perform financial impact analysis, and post journal entries for our multiple manufacturing plants 

• Maintain metal and freight standards and train plant controllers on standard costing processes in manufacturing 

• Reconcile production and inventory for third party vendors that perform part of our manufacturing production processes and review and validate invoices 

• Identify and implement best practices to improve cost accounting processes while ensuring compliance with SOX and internal controls 

What You Bring: 

• Bachelors degree in Accounting or related field 

• 3 or more years cost accounting experience in manufacturing, consumer product, construction or aerospace 

• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite 

• ERP experience, JD Edwards preferred 

• Strong analytical, problem solving, and organizational skills
