Getting to Know the Opportunity:

This role will be responsible for assisting in the servicing of specific intermediary sales relationships. The intern will develop an understanding of the major financial intermediaries and aid the Business Development Managers in building collaborative solutions utilizing Voya Investment Management (IM) resources and portfolios. This is a great opportunity to build your knowledge of portfolio construction and asset allocation. Please Note: This position has been designated as a hybrid-office/home role. Details of your in-office schedule will be finalized with your manager.

The Contributions You'll Make:

• Provide support to senior Business Development Managers to aid in the client support process.

• Be analytical, gaining in-depth experience from participating in the team’s day-to-day activities supporting Voya IM’s largest relationships.

• Be an enthusiastic and ready to walk away with valuable experience to enhance your skills in financial services.

• Interface with various internal functions including RFP, competitive analysis, product development, and marketing to help ensure an integrated and seamless approach to servicing our key relationships.

• CRM and other database support and maintenance.

• Other duties as assigned

Preferred Knowledge & Experience:

• Pursuing a degree in finance, accounting, information systems or related field.

• Basic understanding of various investment instruments.

• Knowledge of basic Microsoft platforms required (e.g., MS Office, Windows 10, etc.).

• Ability to work in a fast paced environment with varying workloads and strict deadlines.

• Ability to independently and creatively resolve problems using appropriate resources.

• Demonstrate high levels of ethics, values and integrity.

• Demonstrate high energy, resiliency, capacity and the ability to handle multiple priorities and execute.

• Strong accountability and focus on execution.

Compensation Pay Disclosure:

Voya is committed to pay that’s fair and equitable, which means comparable pay for comparable roles and responsibilities.

The below annual base salary range reflects the expected hiring range(s) for this position in the location(s) listed. In addition to base salary, Voya offers incentive opportunities (i.e., annual cash incentives, sales incentives, and/or long-term incentives) based on the role to reward the achievement of annual performance objectives. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Voya Financial is willing to pay at the time of this posting.

Actual compensation offered may vary from the posted salary range based upon the candidate’s geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked.
