Position Summary:
Assist students in practical work on subjects linked to plant propagation.
Lead and participate in seminars/discussion sessions.
Prepare teaching material as needed for the course laboratory.
Qualifications:
Good knowledge in plant propagation
Good knowledge of greenhouse production
Experience in teaching in practical setting is an asset.
Please note that Teaching Assistants will be required on campus to perform their tasks in person. Should anything prohibit in-person teaching activities, courses will migrate to remote teaching. In the event of such a change, Teaching Assistants will be advised as soon as possible. Teaching Assistants may be required to perform tasks suited to a remote/online teaching environment using a virtual learning platform [e.g., Zoom, WebEx] and the McGill myCourses learning management system.
