Job Description

Visa+ is a groundbreaking service that enables interoperability between different P2P payment apps and expands near real time payouts to wallets. Launched in April 2023 and hailed as a gamechanger by the payments industry, Visa+ has generated strong interest from Visa clients and partners globally.

The Product Manager for Visa+ will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of Visa+ by identifying, defining, and prioritizing business requirements, and further refining these into advanced product features and enhancements. With an impressive track record in product management, you will leverage your extensive experience and deep technical knowledge in various aspects of money movement to significantly enhance the Visa+ value proposition.

As a Senior Product Manager, you will not only understand client and business needs but also spearhead innovative strategies to meet these needs.

To thrive in this role, you will need to demonstrate excellent collaboration skills, as you will be working closely with a wide range of cross functional teams within Visa. This senior level role requires not only a sound understanding of P2P payments and digital wallets globally, but also the ability to lead and inspire teams, drive strategic decisions, and make a substantial impact on our business and customers.

This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:
• 5 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor's Degree or at
least 2 years of work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters, MBA,
JD, MD) or 0 years of work experience with a PhD

Preferred Qualifications:
• 6 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor's Degree or 4 or more
years of relevant experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD,
MD) or up to 3 years of relevant experience with a PhD
• Extensive experience in a senior product management role, preferably within
the FinTech or payments industry
• Proven leadership skills and the ability to drive and influence cross functional
teams
• Exceptional problem-solving skills with a strategic and analytical mindset
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects prioritization, planning and
task delegation
• Proven track record of delivering data driven solutions with a customer first
mindset
• Established ability to deliver outstanding results in a fast paced, dynamic
environment
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
• Proven ability to develop product and marketing strategies and effectively
communicate recommendations to executive management.
• In-depth understanding of VisaNet processing, Visa Direct, and other Visa
product capabilities
• Proven experience in setting up and managing complex programs involving
multiple stakeholders in a matrix organization
• Extensive experience working with both Agile and Waterfall product
management methodologies
• Exceptional problem-solving skills with a strong focus on client success
• Comfortable making decisions with limited data, structuring abstract problem
statements, and defining a solution path for execution
• Advanced analytical skills with the ability to analyze large transactional data
sets, interpret ambiguous situations, and make decisions under pressure.
• Outstanding written, oral, and presentation skills with the ability to synthesize
information and make clear, concise recommendations on a course of action.
• Creative, team-focused, and effective problem solver with a strong technical
acumen
