Patient Services Manager (RD)

 

We are hiring immediately for a Patient Services Manager (RD) position!

 

• Location:  Coral Gables Hospital - Coral Gables, FL
  • Note: online applications accepted only.
• Setting:  245-bed hospital; Will oversee clinical and patient servies operation
• Schedule:  Full time; Monday - Friday with every 3rd weekend rotation
• Requirement:  Must be registered by the Commission on Dietetic Registration.

Job Summary

 

We are seeking a Patient Services Manager (RD) to lead our Clinical and Patient Services Team in an Acute Care setting in Coral Gables, FL.   

Key Responsibilities:

 

• Provides nutrition assessment, modified diet formulation, self-management training and nutrition intervention
• Establishes goals and oversees implementation of patient food services needs based upon medical direction and patient population
• Hires, directs, coaches, trains, and develops patient service team members
• Complies with dietary restrictions on special or modified diets to ensure optimal food preferences are met within guidelines of the diet order limitations
• Ensures patient services staff assists in achieving stated patient satisfaction goals
• Complies with regulatory standards, including federal, state, and accrediting agencies while adhering to facility confidentiality, HIPAA regulations, and patient rights policies
• Participates in/ leads patient satisfaction programs, departmental meetings, and facility wide Quality Assurance/Performance Improvement programs

 

Qualifications:

 

• Bachelor’s degree and Registered Dietitian in accordance with the Commission on Dietetic Registration, required
• Minimum of two years of professional experience as a Registered Dietitian
• Licensed by the State Dietetics Licensing Board in states where applicable required
• Experience with computers and programs including Microsoft Office Suite required
