Job Description

The Department of Fine & Performing Arts seeks to establish a pool of qualified applicants for future, part-time Adjunct Faculty appointments in Music. Successful applicants may teach up to six semester credit hours within the required discipline at on campus sites or online as dictated by student demand, hold office hours, and assist students as needed.

Education and Experience:

  • Master’s degree in music, evidence of successful teaching experience in college or public school

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience teaching percussion

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Ability to teach undergraduate college music students applied lessons at all levels.
  • Additional duties may be assigned as chamber music coach or teaching music theory

Other information:

  • Adjunct Faculty positions are temporary appointments, assigned per semester and on an as-needed basis. 
  • These temporary appointments are for the Fall 2025 Semester and sub-terms.

  • The above job duties may not be performed in every Adjunct Faculty position and may not include all related duties that might be performed.
