Principal Architect - Business Intelligence

The Tiger Analytics team is looking for a highly experienced Business Intelligence (BI) & Analytics Solution Architect with a proven track record of designing and implementing BI solutions across both traditional and cloud ecosystems. The ideal candidate should have a deep understanding of BI architecture best practices, as well as experience with BI migration and modernization. In addition, the candidate should be adept at collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify business requirements, establish relevant KPIs, and develop end-to-end BI solutions. The candidate should also be well-versed in conducting workshops, managing RFPs, and staying up to date with emerging trends in the BI field. Strong communication and presentation skills are a must, as the candidate will be expected to effectively communicate their BI architecture viewpoints to senior management

Responsibilities

• Analyze BI & analytics requirements, aligning them with business objectives, and pinpoint data, metrics, and KPIs required to achieve the initiative's goals.
• Collaborate with the data architecture team to assist in data ingestion, transformation, integration and aggregation processes
• Develop a universal semantic model in the data virtualization layer to establish a single source of truth in collaboration with the data architecture team.
• Facilitate BI migration and modernization efforts, including assessing existing systems, developing and executing a migration strategy, and overseeing the implementation of new systems
• Evaluate new features/releases of BI Analytics tools and provide recommendations and approaches for better adoption.
• Understanding of cloud data storage solutions and cloud-based BI solutions.
• Strong understanding of data architecture, data integration, and data modeling.
• Hands-on experience with both traditional and new-age BI and analytics tools like Power BI, Tableau, Qlik, ThoughtSpot, Alteryx, and other similar tools.
• Establish standards and best practices for BI and analytics development and perform architecturalr eviews of dashboards/reports before deployment.
• Provide technical guidance to multiple report development teams across the organization.
• Work closely with dashboard/report development team to develop a solution architecture that is performant in a high concurrent user environment.
• Experience in developing a dashboard catalog, access standards, and security compliance.
• Work with data governance team to develop dashboard catalog, access standards, and security
• compliance.
• Monitor BI tool platform analytics data to drive key performance and architecture initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• At least 7-8 years of total experience with 5-6 years in the data analysis
• Should have strong communication skills
• Should be able to do Data profiling using Python
• Convert business requirements into smaller workstreams for the data engineers and other analysts on the team
• Use data to drive actionable insights and Calculate the impact of various features that were launched
• Core skills: - AWS Tech Stack, Snowflake, PySpark, Big Data and BI Technology
