About the role
As a Senior Operations Associate covering insurance and expenses, you will be a member of our facilities team providing support to our employees and legal department with corporate insurance and work closely with insurance brokers. You will also work on auditing and approving expense reports as well as ensuring company policies are followed. You will also work on facility executive presentations. Your professionalism is vital to make our customers, vendors, employees, and guests feel like their needs, concerns and questions are taken care of.
What you'll do
- Prepare insurance applications, and market new and renewal risks.
- Responsible for the issuance of Certificates of Insurance (COI’s).
- Responsible for the audit of subcontractor/vendor COIs.
- Obtain and/or review insurance quotes.
- Bind and/or check insurance policies.
- Request endorsements as needed.
- Liaison and main point of contact for insurance brokers.
- Work closely with our legal team to assist with any claims.
- Review SOW’s insurance requirements and evaluate to confirm insurance coverage requested.
- Track all insurance issues and claims.
- Auditing and approving expenses.
- Subject Matter Expert on insurance and expense policies and procedures
- Assist employees with issues within the system.
- Liaise with finance for issues and reimbursements

What you have
- 2+ years of experience with corporate insurance all lines of cover – technology industry preferred.
- 2+ years of experience in expense management.
- Legally eligible to work in the United States.
- Exceptional customer service skills; able to support both internal and external customers.
- High attention to detail – ability to spot errors and inconsistencies.
- Adept at handling interruptions and multi-tasking during high-volume periods.
- Expert level knowledge of Microsoft Project, Power point, Word, and Excel. CRM systems and ERP systems.
- SAP
- Must exercise the utmost discretion due to the confidential nature of the position.
- Outgoing personality with top-notch organizational, time-management and follow-up skills.
- Must be dependable, punctual and able to work with minimal supervision.
- Must be comfortable performing required tasks as assigned.
- Ability to take direction from multiple people.
- Ability to work effectively and cooperatively on a team.
- Possess the ability to interface with different personalities and individuals with their inquiries.
- Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills as you will be interacting with high-level vendor and customer contacts on a regular basis.
