Department Overview 

The RIA & Custody Services Division (RCS) serves as a clearing firm for independent broker-dealers and as a custodian for independent Registered Investment Advisor firms (RIAs). 

 

Job Summary 

The individual chosen for this role will have the opportunity to work directly with all levels of the department, including senior leadership. Curiosity, innovation, and problem-solving skills will be key when participating in projects that will impact the department for years to come. Understanding of the regulatory agencies that oversee Broker-Dealer and RIA firms will be essential in understanding how the different areas of the business work together to mitigate risk and implement product solutions while delivering superior client experience. 

 

The summer associate position is a temporary role. 

 

Start Date: Monday, June 1, 2026 

End Date: Friday, August 7, 2026 

Work Schedule: Monday through Friday, up to 40 hours per week. 

 

Duties and Responsibilities 

• Gain in-depth exposure and hands-on experience working with teams build excellence for RIAs and Introducing Broker Dealers. 

• Participate in initiatives aimed at continuous process and technology improvements; identify areas of operational inefficiency and implement proposed enhancements. 

• Learn how to define and track success criteria for assigned initiatives with a focus on operational efficiency and due diligence.
