Data Labs Strategist

Job Description

As a Data Labs Strategist, you will be working with a team of Data Analysts on the Data Labs Team to help build out reports, datasets, and deep dive into our data to provide detailed analysis and data driven stories.

This position reports to the Senior Data and Analytics Manager. This is a full-time position located in Boise, Idaho. This role is expected to work in a hybrid model, which includes two days in-office.

What you’ll do:

Your expertise in Data Visualization tools like Power BI or Tableau, as well as Data Manipulation skills in SQL and Python or R, will make you the go-to person for larger or more complicated analysis projects. You will partner cross-functionally to understand other teams’ needs for analysis and data. Then, you will turn that understanding into detailed data driven stories around our customers, our marketing efforts, and our operational success.

What you bring to the table:

• 2+ years writing queries using SQL (SQL Server preferred)
• 2+ years developing dashboards in Microsoft Power BI, Tableau, or other visualization tools
• 2+ years working on data in Python, R or Matlab
• Strong analytical background
• Experience/familiarity in Google Analytics and Google BigQuery a plus
• Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Data Science, Computer Science, Business or Marketing
