We are seeking a Business Intelligence Analyst to join our Finance Business Intelligence team with a focus on Power BI reporting and the broader Microsoft Power Platform. This role partners closely with finance stakeholders, data engineering teams, and technical peers to help design, build, and enhance business intelligence solutions that support decision-making across the organization.
This position is ideal for an analytical thinker who enjoys working with data, translating business questions into insights, and telling clear stories through visualization—while continuing to grow their technical and business acumen.
What You'll Do:
- PowerBI Development: Design, develop, and maintain scalable and efficient PowerBI reports and dashboards that meet business requirements.
- Power Platform Support: Support and contribute to solutions across the Microsoft Power Platform, including:
- Power BI semantic models and reports.
- Power Automate workflows (data refreshes, notifications, light process automation).
- Workspace Management: Monitor dataset refreshes, ensure reliable performance, and follow established governance and access standards.
- Data Modeling: Demonstrated understanding of data warehousing and data modeling concepts, with previous experience in DW environments.
- Business Analysis: Ask the right questions to understand underlying needs and work with business areas and IT teams to develop compelling data solutions.
- Problem Solving: Persist through complex problems until fully resolved; test solutions thoroughly for long-term stability.
- Collaborate: Work effectively with others, contribute viewpoints, and support development of sustainable, long-term solutions that positively impact the organization.
- R&D: Continuously improve reporting and analytics by leveraging the latest BI technologies and practices.
What You'll Bring:
- 1 to 3 years experience in business intelligence, analytics, or a related field.
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline (e.g., Finance, Data Science, Computer Science, Business, or related).
- Experience with Agile/Delivery tooling (e.g., Jira, DevOps).
- Familiarity with version control platforms (e.g., GitHub).
- Passion for AI and analytics (actively explores ways to use tools such as Copilot, GPTs, etc.).
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Analytical mindset and a drive for continuous learning.
Compensation & Benefits:
The salary range for this role, in Loveland, CO, is between $79,100 - $135,500. While we provide this range as general guidance, several factors are taken into consideration when making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, candidate skill set, experience and training, licensure and certifications, work location, and other business and organizational needs. Actual salary and benefits may differ based upon location.
