In this role, you will have the following responsibilities:
Customer Service:
- Provide excellent customer service to brokers, Realtors, and title companies.
- Maintain strong customer service with underwriting, closing and other IHFA employees.
- Assist broker department with clarifications and problem solving as needed.
- Maintain Broker training on TPO and other software.
Conditions:
- Review loan conditions and work with brokers as needed to keep pipeline updated.
- Review conditions submitted by brokers for accuracy and completeness.
- Maintain accuracy of pipeline.
Processing:
- Provide efficient and timely processing of all new loan submissions meeting all TRID regulatory dates.
- Assist brokers by providing excellent service in the reservation and processing of all brokered loans
- Assist in the review of uploaded files and request additional documents as needed for submission to underwriting.
- Review all asset, income, credit, and property documents and identify and issues or concerns.
- Complete income calculator for all borrowers.
- Perform all front end processing – flood cert, USPS, fraud report, etc.
Personal Development:
- Participate in training on an individual basis and with the department staff to further development and advancement
- Foster a team atmosphere
- Maintain proper NMLS licensing.
May perform other additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Requirements
Position qualifications required are the following:
- Must have 5+ years’ experience in mortgage lending, LOS administration, and loan processing.
- Must be self-directed and motivated performer with strong PC and communication skills
- The employee is required to participate in training and other educational classes that benefit the Association and the individual as it relates to the position.
- They must work towards the Association goals as a team player.
