In-home senior caregiver in Los Gatos, CA

About this job:

We are looking for a compassionate, professional in-home caregiver to provide non-medical senior care and companionship for a couple aged +80 in Los Gatos, CA.

Schedule:   Monday through Friday noon to 6 pm

Pay rate: $24/hour 

We’re looking for help with: 

• Cooking meals and feeding 
• Light housekeeping and errands 
• Assistance with dressing or bedtime routines, personal hygiene, bathing (sponge baths), and/or toileting 
• Assistance with mobility 
• Medication reminders 
• Supporting client’s physical exercise, such as walking together or assisting with PT/OT 
• Activities together in the home, such as board games, crafts, light gardening, etc. 
• Attending activities outside the home together, such as religious services, community events, or shopping 
• Completing communication and/or medication logs and sharing updates with care team members

Hiring info:

We are looking to hire a caregiver through the Herewith platform. Herewith isn’t an agency, so we will be hiring and paying our caregiver directly. However, Herewith will be providing free background checks for all applicants and will provide free support throughout the interview and hiring process.
