About the role
Job Highlights Are you self-motivated to explore new and better ways of improving our test performance and coverage? RGi is seeking a Lead Software Test Engineer to join our fast-paced environment providing quality assurance through the writing and execution of manual and automated regression tests. You will be supporting the developer team by testing new software as it is completed and supporting our customers directly with troubleshooting support. You will also help ensure our products provide the reliable performance that our customers require.
As a Lead Software Test Engineer, you will work with operational users to design, develop, and maintain capabilities that empower analysts to manage and fuse data from multiple sources of intelligence in support of national security missions. The software platform is developed and deployed on AWS cloud environments. We are changing the state of the art of analysis tools.

As a Lead Software Test Engineer, you will work with operational users to design, develop, and maintain capabilities that empower analysts to manage and fuse data from multiple sources of intelligence in support of national security missions. Clearance:
- Active Top Secret clearance with willingness and ability to obtain an SCI and CI polygraph
- US Citizenship required
As a Lead Software Test Engineer, you will...
- Lead large scale test organization
- Coordinate with customer and Coordinate with customer and CACI leads to prioritize the development of test automation scripts for critical business processes.
- Leads proactive efforts to identify potential underlying issues impacting system function and performance.
- Execute Functional, Regression, & Performance testing
- Participate in enterprise integration test events and serve as the main segment POC
- Perform troubleshooting on systems and coordinate DRs back to development scrum teams
- Review discrepancy reports and create delivery change request workflows
- Serve as the primary segment point of contact through the testing and integration process
- Participate in the creation of test documentation and test reports
- Collaborate with project managers, business analysts, and technical writers to ensure manuals are in synch with the software and business process
- Assist in the design & execution of more agile IV&V workflows
- Understand, build, and document environments needed for testing
- Refine and enhance existing test cases and applications to best meet requirement verification and improve operational performance
- Work directly with software engineers and project leads
- Apply system-level knowledge and tools to diagnose and describe issues
Lead Software Test Engineer Qualifications:
- Typically requires bachelor's degree or equivalent and 10+ years of directly related experience
- Must have a current and active TS/SCI preferably with a polygraph to begin employment
- Minimum of 10 years with test/system/software engineering experience, or directly related
- Ability to understand technical documents, user stories to develop Functional, Regression, and Performance test plans.
- Ability to be hands-on in this role to develop professional documentation and other written materials
- Experience with test management and test automation software
- Familiarity with automated load testing
Additional Skills We'd Like to See:
- Knowledge of government delivery and testing processes
- Software Engineering experience
- Experience with qTest, Eggplant, Tosca, JMeter, LoadRunner, TestProject, Cucumber, Selenium, or other test automation tools
