What You’ll Do:
As a Registered Nurse, you will be instrumental in delivering high-quality care and leading nursing staff during your shift. Your role will involve clinical coordination, documentation, staff support, and active participation in our quality improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities Include:
Assist the Director of Nursing with daily nursing operations
Supervise and mentor licensed and non-licensed staff
Monitor medication administration and treatment compliance
Conduct admissions, discharges, and evaluations
Make rounds to assess residents' physical and emotional well-being
Respond to changes in condition and communicate with physicians and families
Maintain accurate documentation and reports
Participate in staff training, care planning, and QA meetings
Support infection control, safety, and regulatory compliance
Qualifications:
Valid California RN license in good standing
Current CPR certification
Minimum of 2 years nursing experience (long-term care preferred)
Strong leadership, communication, and critical-thinking skills
Knowledge of PCC (PointClickCare) preferred
Ability to manage a team while delivering compassionate, resident-centered care
