We are actively seeking for a Senior Warehouse Manager to join our team at our offices in Thessaloniki.

The Senior Warehouse Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of warehouse operations to ensure efficient and effective management of inventory, facilities, and personnel in North Greece and play a strategic role in optimizing warehouse processes, implementing best practices, and driving continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational performance.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute strategic plans for warehouse operations aligned with organizational objectives and customer needs.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement, cost optimization, and performance enhancement.
• Lead and manage warehouse staff, providing guidance, coaching, and support to foster teamwork and accountability.
• Delegate tasks, set performance goals, and conduct regular evaluations to drive employee engagement.
• Oversee inventory control processes to maintain accurate levels and ensure on-time order fulfillment.
• Implement best practices and SOPs to optimize workflows, productivity, and cost efficiency.
• Utilize WMS and technology solutions to automate processes and enhance operational efficiency.
• Monitor KPIs and metrics to assess warehouse performance, utilization, inventory accuracy, and labor productivity.
• Analyze data trends, identify improvement areas, and implement corrective actions to meet targets and SLAs.
• ·Collaborate with suppliers, vendors, and logistics providers to coordinate logistics and ensure timely delivery.
• Negotiate contracts, manage service agreements, and resolve disputes to maintain strong partnerships.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives and lean principles to streamline processes and eliminate waste.
• Lead cross-functional teams in Kaizen events and problem-solving exercises for sustainable solutions.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, industry standards, and company policies.
• Conduct audits, training sessions, and assessments to mitigate risks and ensure legal compliance.
• Communicate with internal stakeholders to provide performance updates, address challenges, and solicit feedback.

Requirements

• Strong knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS), inventory control methodologies, and logistics best practices.
• Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate, inspire teams to achieve common goals and to articulate complex ideas and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
• Demonstrate ability to drive operational excellence, implement process improvements, and achieve measurable results in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in data analysis, performance metrics, and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Strong problem-solving skills and strategic thinking abilities, with a focus on innovation and continuous learning.
• Experience working in a regulated environment with knowledge of safety, quality, and compliance standards.
• Advanced business writing and oral skills both in Greek and English.

To qualify for the role, you must have:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• 7 years of progressive experience in warehouse management or logistics operations, with a proven track record of success in leadership roles for cold storage and / or ambient.
• Advanced MS Office skills.
