Exciting place to start your nursing career! 2CGHJ is a 51-bed medical surgical telemetry unit that focuses on Medical/Surgical patients, a hall dedicated to serve patients with heart failure and 2 halls that serve as the primary inpatient unit for our great Family Medicine residency program. The unit is one of the “newest” units in the hospital as it originally opened in 2021 to accommodate covid patients and has transitioned into a comprehensive Medical/Surgical unit. Atrium Health Cabarrus is the only hospital in the county of Cabarrus and is northeast of the largest city in NC, so the unit was needed to form to meet the increased hospital census needs.
