Job Purpose
The Senior Talent Advisor is a strategic recruiting partner responsible for managing the full-cycle recruitment of corporate and professional-level roles supporting Herc Rentals' Field Support Center (Corporate Headquarters) functions. This role serves as a trusted advisor to hiring managers across Finance, Accounting, Human Resources, Legal, Information Technology, and other corporate disciplines — delivering top talent through proactive sourcing, consultative partnership, and an exceptional candidate experience.
What you will do...
Full- Cycle Recruting
- Manage end-to-end recruitment for FSC and corporate requisitions, including Finance, Accounting, HR, Legal, IT, Procurement, and Administrative functions.
- Partner with hiring managers to conduct intake meetings, define role requirements, develop compelling job postings, and establish targeted sourcing strategiesSource, screen, and present qualified candidates through a variety of channels including LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, employee referrals, and direct outreach.
- Manage candidate pipelines in Salesforce (ATS), ensuring data integrity and timely disposition of all applicants.
Stakeholder Partnership
- Act as a strategic advisor to hiring managers and HR Business Partners, providing market intelligence, compensation benchmarking guidance, and talent insights.
- Proactively communicate pipeline status, candidate feedback, and time-to-fill updates to key stakeholders.
- Collaborate with the TA Operations team on requisition distribution, reporting, and process compliance.
- Partner with the Talent Acquisition Manager on metrics, stakeholder surveys, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Candidate Experience
- Deliver a best-in-class candidate experience from first contact through offer acceptance and onboarding handoff.
- Conduct thorough phone screens and structured interviews, providing detailed candidate write-ups and recommendations to hiring teams.
- Negotiate and extend competitive offers in alignment with compensation guidelines and approval workflows.
Sourcing & Market Intelligence
- Develop and maintain talent pipelines for critical and recurring FSC roles. • Leverage LinkedIn Recruiter, professional networks, and diversity sourcing channels to attract passive talent.
- Stay current on market trends, compensation data, and the competitive landscape for corporate and professional-level roles.
Process & Compliance
- Ensure all recruiting activity is compliant with EEOC, OFCCP, and Herc Rentals hiring policies.
- Maintain accurate and timely records in Salesforce for all requisitions and candidate activity.
- Contribute to TA team initiatives including process improvements, job description updates, and onboarding of new tools and technologies.
Requirements
- 5+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience with a focus on corporate, professional, or white-collar roles.
- Demonstrated experience recruiting for Finance, Accounting, HR, Legal, and IT functions.
- Proficiency with an Applicant Tracking System (Salesforce preferred) and LinkedIn Recruiter.
- Strong consultative skills with the ability to influence and build trust with senior-level stakeholders.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to craft compelling candidate write-ups and job postings.
- Ability to manage a high-volume requisition load while maintaining quality and a sense of urgency.
- Experience in a corporate shared services or FSC environment.
- Familiarity with compensation benchmarking tools and offer negotiation.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field.
