Technologist Assistant - CT Scan (Per Diem, Temporary, Varied Shift)

$21.65 - $27.71

Hours per pay period: Up to 24 Hours

POSITION SUMMARY:

Under the general direction of the Manager, Medical Imaging Services and the immediate supervisor, performs responsibilities in a professional manner not requiring constant supervision.  Assumes responsibility for designated areas, procedures and assists the technologist in performing examinations.

Minimum:

Current CPR Certification.  

   

SKILLS / KNOWLEDGE / ABILITIES:

Working knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy. Knowledge of computer applications required.  Knowledge of filing systems. Must be able to follow instructions, work quickly and accurately in a fast paced environment. Ability to work with minimal supervision. Analytical and grammatical skills are necessary to communicate effectively, verbally and in writing.  Organizational and multi-tasking skills are essential. Must be able to fulfill the essential functions of the position.
