Job Details

The Cleveland Clinic Taussig Cancer Center is seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant to join our multidisciplinary team in the Outpatient Lymphoma team. This role is designed for an advanced practice provider with a strong interest in hematologic malignancies, specifically lymphoma, who thrives in a collaborative, patient-centered environment.

The NP/PA will work closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care to adult patients with lymphoma across all stages of diagnosis, treatment, and survivorship. Responsibilities include conducting patient assessments, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, managing treatment-related side effects, facilitating care coordination, and participating in clinical research and patient education.

This is a full-time, outpatient position with regular hours (8am-5pm) no weekends or holidays, offering an opportunity to work within one of the nation's leading cancer centers, renowned for innovation, excellence in patient care, and academic advancement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform comprehensive patient evaluations and follow-up visits.

  • Collaborate with hematology/oncology physicians in the management of lymphoma patients.

  • Order and interpret laboratory and imaging studies.

  • Prescribe medications and manage treatment plans.

  • Bone marrow biopsy, skin biopsy and other procedures.

  • Educate patients and families on disease process, treatment options, and supportive care.

  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and tumor boards.

  • Support clinical research initiatives and contribute to quality improvement projects.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Current licensure as a Nurse Practitioner in the State of Ohio.

  • Certification as an Adult, Family, or Acute Care Nurse Practitioner.

  • Minimum of 1–2 years of experience in oncology or hematology preferred.

  • Strong communication, clinical decision-making, and organizational skills.

  • Commitment to evidence-based practice and lifelong learning.
