• We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer Manager to lead our Platform team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and growing a team of engineers focused on building core platform services that empower developers and other users across the organization.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Lead and mentor a team of 8-12 software engineers, fostering their growth and ensuring high performance
• Drive the technical direction of our platform services, including centralized permissions, AI infrastructure, and developer tools
• Collaborate with product and other engineering teams to define and execute on the platform roadmap
• Ensure the delivery of high-quality, scalable, and reliable platform services
• Contribute to the overall engineering strategy and help shape the technical culture of the organization

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• 8+ years of software engineering experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role
• Strong technical background in building and maintaining large-scale distributed systems
• Experience managing teams building developer tools or platform services
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively across departments
• Proven track record of delivering complex projects on time and within budget
• Strong understanding of software development best practices and methodologies
• Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience with Node.js, React, and modern web technologies
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and microservices architecture
• Knowledge of AI/ML technologies and their integration into developer workflows
• Experience with Agile methodologies and continuous delivery practices
• History of contributions to open-source projects or developer communities
• MBA or advanced degree in Computer Science or related field

US Salary Range$196,000—$294,000 USD

 

The salary range for this role is an estimate based on a wide range of compensation factors, inclusive of base salary only. Actual salary offer may vary based on (but not limited to) work experience, education and/or training, critical skills, and/or business considerations.
