We make some of the world's most popular and trusted food brands and are committed to advancing the science, health and food products for pets.  </p> <h2>Position Snapshot</h2> <p> </p> <p>Esplugues de Llobregat, Barcelona.<br/> Level: H<br/> Nestlé Purina Petcare, Barcelona, Spain</p> <h2>Position Summary</h2> <p> </p> <p>RSA Specialist contributes to deliver compliant labelling and product-related communication materials (e.g. e-commerce, social web), enables EMENA I&amp;R projects success through effective support to the project teams and builds fruitful relation with Pet food associations (FEDIAF and/or local pet food trade associations).</p> <h2>A day in the life of...</h2> <p> </p> <ul> <li>Regulatory Compliance: <ul> <li>Ensure that product claims are scientifically substantiated, regulatory compliant and all labels meet EU Regulations, industry codes/guidelines and Nestlé/Nestlé PURINA Standards.</li> <li>Support the development of effective and meaningful communication materials for internal stakeholders.</li> <li>Propose and implement validated action plans in response to regulatory changes in the EU.            </li> </ul> </li> <li>Active Innovation and Renovation:  <ul> <li>Contribute to EMENA I&amp;R projects with regulatory input and risk assesment for claims. </li> <li>Provide, with appropriate support, risk assesments and solutions for product labelling and regulatory issues.         </li> </ul> </li> <li>Proactive Influencing: Advocacy  <ul> <li>Represent NPP EMENA at National &amp; European Trade Associations in dedicated working groups (communication / feed materials and trade / additives ad undesirable substances / nutrition /product communication / environmental sustainability/ analyticals). </li> <li>Report and escalate any issue/relevant change noticed during the meetings to the RSA manager and relevant internal stakeholders for decision.           </li> </ul> </li> <li>Regulatory Foundation:  <ul> <li>Know and able to find the key Regulatory texts (labelling, animal by products, additives, feed hygiene, etc..) and FEDIAF codes (labelling, safety, nutritional guidelines). </li> <li>Able to explain to others on core regulatory information.           <br/>  </li> </ul> </li> </ul> <h2>What will make you successful</h2> <p> </p> <ul> <li>Recognised educational skills related to regulatory and scientific affairs; e.g. University degree (3-5 years at the university) in science or law or the equivalent knowledge learnt on the job.</li> <li>Minimum 3-5 years Nestlé or Purina experience in a regulatory team or in close contact with regulatory environment or equivalent experience outside Nestlé in a regulatory team (food, feed, veterinary, petcare industry, association or governmental authorities).   <br/>  </li> </ul> <p>Nestlé is 308,000 employees strong and are driven by the purpose of enhancing the quality of life and contributing to a healthier future.
